ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police have arrested 13 outlaws from various areas of the city
and recovered four mobile phones, weapons, wine bottles and other
looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Sunday.
According
to details, ASI Muhammad Iqbal from Ramana police arrested two thieves
identified as Yasrab, Khalid Mehmud and recovered two mobile phones and
other stolen items worth thousands of rupees from their possession.
These nabbed persons have confessed to commit four theft incidents in
sector G-11.
Sabzi Mandi police arrested a mobile thief
and recovered stolen mobiles from him while ASI Tanveer Kiani from Golra
police arrested a dacoit Amjad.

apprehended two motorcycle thieves Iftikhar and Abdul Hadi besides
recovering fake registration books and number plates from them. Sabzi
Mandi police arrested another accused Saqib Khan for possessing 30 bore
pistol while Loi Bher police apprehended Hasnain, Rani Bibi and Salma
for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
Sub-Inspector
Muhammad Ali from CIA police arrested two thieves Naveed and Wilson
while ASI Nadeem Tahir from Kohsar police arrested a bootlegger Salawar
Khan for having three wine bottles.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
IGP
Islamabad has further directed all police officials to ensure effective
policing in their respective areas and maintain strict vigilance
against anti-social elements.
