on the channel and she has also been casted in many other music videos and off course in various dramas. She is no doubt a

Hina tell us something about yourself?
I ama very emotional and moody person, love hangout and
being with my frnds and family although I hardly get time yet i always enjoy
their company.
· How long have you been in this media thing?
Its been 1 and half
year
·
How did you got into all this media stuff?
Well I have done mass communication from KC so
initially I started my career in production for APlus and Alite and was
associate producer for shows like “Switch on with fia” and “tune ho jao” so
that’s how I was introduced to the media world.

How and when did you enter this media and glamorous
world?
As I mentioned, I was initially a production person but
in the starting days of APlus one of my friends needed a host for his show and
fortunately he couldn’t find a well spoken girl so he asked me to host the five
days a week show “tune ho jao” and I said ok to him then he auditioned me and I
got selected and that’s how I started my career as a TV host. Initially as I
was working in APlus, I did hosting just for fun and wasn’t serious in hosting
thingy at all. During my first show I did my first sitcom “Khel tamasha” for PTV
and I think people liked my acting and after people comments regarding my on
camera work, I started taking it more seriously.

Was this your passion and are you gonna carry it as
full time profession?
It was not my passion in the beginning but now TV
hosting is my passion and I really love doing live shows as they give me
opportunity to interact with my fans. As far as acting is concerned I like
acting in different plays and love playing my characters in plays (different
from my personality).

Who are your major inspirations?
Ummm my major inspiration quaid-e-azam, Mohammad Ali
Jinnah…… as he gave this country by his endless effort.

When and how did you felt that you should be acting,
hosting and modeling?
I never thought of taking this field as profession as
neither anyone of my family belongs to this field nor my interest was in it but
I incidently entered in this field as I mentioned earlier…. But yup after
working as producer I realized that I was never meant for production thingy.
And since im a very talkative person so can be a good tv anchor/host so I felt
that should take it as profession.

Did you face any hard times while you were in media?
You come across with weird people every now and then
but I guess it’s just a nature of a professional life, no matter what you are
doing you will always come across such people so I’ve grown to overcome such
petty feelings and I try to do my best work and stay out of the politics.

Further in which part you would be concentrating more
acting, modeling or hosting?
Currently, I’m enjoying hosting a lot and do enjoy
acting from time to time so I will be focusing on hosting and acting but you
never know what happens in the future.

You have been also acting in a famous sitcom “timmy g”
how was working in it?
It was an amazing experience, the entire cast I worked
with was so amazing and the entire experience was so learning and educational.
I hope I keep getting work with people like the cast and crew of Timmy g.

Any other interests?
Observing people as it really teaches me a lot. Humans
are very unpredictable creatures but more you understand their behavior and
habits, more easier it gets to help you to make a decision relevant to them
like it is good to learn and observe people how they act when they get angry or
when they are happy, excited etc.

Who is your favorite actor/host and actress/host?
Juggun kazim and faisal qureshi…. Love both of them.

What are the major achievements you have got till now?
My family and my lovely fans J

Who is currently the worst actor and actress in
showbiz?
I’m myself a learner so I cant say who is the worst….
but yeah I’ve seen mathira’s acting I didn’t like it, I guess she is a good
entertainer as a TV host so in my personal opinion I think she should stick to
that only.

Upcoming projects?
Working in a soap “Bas Yunhi” for urdu1, “khwab kab
pooray hotay hain” and “Jalan” … all of these are under production phase so u
guys need to wait cz my characters in all the projects are different from one
another.

Where do you see
yourself in the next few years?
Don’t know as I’m a very inconsistent person… so cant
say but yup I want to see myself always with my family J

Dreams which have still not been accomplished?
Hahahha…. Hazaron khwahishain aisi k har khwahish per
dam niklay
Bohut niklay mere armaan phir b kam niklay ;)

Any comments about Veena?
She is a big name and no doubt she is achieving a lot
so I’m no one to comment about her as its her life and I think she has full
right to do whatever she wants.

Any message for your fans?
I love you all and I appreciate every single message
you put on my facebook page. I try to read all of them but sometimes it’s not
always possible. Keep watching me and keep putting constructive criticism, as
it would be the best method that will help me develop as an artist.

Views about islo times?
It is a very good and informative website as it gives
so much information through top ten stories and social stories….all the people
like me who either don’t get time to browse internet a lot or watch tv they
should just browse this website and can get any kind of information they want
to.
