IS STANDING
UP FOR SOMETHING RIGHT A CRIME IN PAKISTAN????
Malala
Yusufzai a 13year old, Eight graded student from Swat, Khyber Pakhtun khawan (KPK). She
was the first girl from her province to wrote a diary to BBC news about
education being banned in her Province.
For her
courageous and outstanding services for the promotion of peace under extremely
hostile conditions, she was awarded the first National Peace Award by the
Pakistani government on 19 December 2011.Speaking to the media afterwards, she
expressed her intent to form a political party focused on education. The Government Girls Secondary School, Mission Road, was immediately renamed Malala Yousufzai
Govt Girls Secondary School in her honour.
She was named after Malalai of Maiwand, a
Pashtun poet and warrior woman.
But who knew her so much bravery and
honour would cost her life one day. On 9th October, a TALIBAN gunner walked up to her and
shoot her twice. Once on her head and once on her neck.
Now she’s fighting for her life and we just
hope that ALLAH protects her. Ameen !
