Bipolar disorder is a common disorder. It affects as many 27 million people worldwide. It is not particularly well understood. There is no cure for this mental disease and the treatments that exist are not that much reliable. In this disorder the patient faces mood swings and depression. The society takes it normally even though it’s a very severe disease that the patient can even commit suicide. Friends, family of the bipolar patient get irritated by his/her mood swings and try to stay away from him/her. After even knowing that there is something wrong with the person, they don’t take him/her to the psychiatrist. The patient cries but feels nothing. We can never tell what is going on the patients mind. Those who have this disorder may very well feel as mad as other find them to be. The patients feel really left out. All they need is love, care and most of all ATTENTION. Society does not get that. They get annoyed because of the mood switches of the patient and don’t treat them really well which makes the patient go more insane. Those people whom they love should be around them and not leave them and treat them well. This is the only way to keep the bipolar patient alive and normal.
