If we go back to 1990’s to 2004 we came to know that Karachi is the city of wishes for every Pakistani. They came here to settle down from all over Pakistan, they came here for good career and for good job. The Bussiness men invest their money in Karachi because he thinks that Karachi will become the financial hub in the coming times but no one knows that in the coming time it will become the city of terror. Give me right to say the city of light to “the City of Terror”.It was 2002 a young boy named “Ahmed” from Peshawar (KPK) came to Karachi in search of good job and wants to improve his family status. He did his BBA from COMSATS abbottabad and wants job in the city of lights Karachi. When he tell his father about his idea, his father encouraged him and say don’t worry about the money just pack your bag and go with the name of ALLAH surely, Allah will help you and my prayers are with you. He was very happy because he was very sure that he will got the job in Karachi because he is the gold medalist of the university. He thinks that by coming to Karachi he will help his parent. It was his dream to see his sister a doctor, and his brother a good mechanical engineer for all this, he came to Karachi in search of his dreams, but he never know what is going to be happen in the next few years.
After coming to Karachi, he was very happy because he heard a lot about Karachi, and want to explore Karachi. He got a room in the hostel but, he came to know that the life here in Karachi is so fast and if one want to become successful he have to work hard. He starts with the name of ALLAH and search for the job and after 2 or 3 weeks a well reputed bank call him for the interview and he was very happy and shared the news with his parents, they thanked to Allah because they were very worry about his elder child.
He gave his interview and the interviewer was very satisfied with his answers and Ahmed was very sure that he will get this job. After some weeks he received the appointment letter and he was ready to fly on the sky of success though, the salary wasn’t good for him but, he was a man of strong nerves. He thanked to Allah and work hard to be a successful person.
As time passes through his hard work he became the manager of the firm and was working hard to achieve his dreams but no one knows what is the great game of Allah??
2010 just started and his job was going very good and he was supporting his family too. His marriage is going to be held on February 29th 2012 and he was trying to get vacations as soon as possible. He was also thinking to switch his family from Peshawar to Karachi because now he can afford a house in a posh area of Karachi. He was very happy because the year is so far very good for him as far the marriage and his promotion is concerned but the only problem is the law and order situation of Karachi which is disturbing him and his family forced him to make transfer from Karachi to other city because of it. Due to this problem he put off the decision of making switch to this city.
2010 wasn’t good for karachities at all because of bad law and order situation, the sectarian killings is on the peak and the target killings of different communities also. On 20th feb 2012 he was buying gifts for his family when he some unknown person on Hi-ace come and kidnapped him and after that no one knows what happens to him?? On 29th of feb 2010 his dead body was found near the native jetty bridge.
No one knows why he was killed?? I can’t write about the emotions of his family. what was his mistake? He was neither a political worker nor a terrorist. The only reason is he was pathan.. for your knowledge in 2010 about 110% ratio increased in killings of different people from different communities like sindhi, phusto, Punjabi, muhajir, balooch, Bengali, gilgti.
There are a lot of stories infact there are lot of ahmed who lost their lives. Now,2013 any thing changed??? Nothing is changed but the only change is we become more cruel, cruel like animals. Rules like jungles..
We were not like that, what happened to us?? Is this our Islam teaches us?? Is this our Quaid wants?? Is there anyone who can answer these questions?? No one..
The basic objective behind this article isn’t spread hopelessness but to show our weakness and to show what we are doing??
Let me say this that we are our own enemies, enemies of our country, enemies of our generations, enemies of peace, enemies of Islam, enemies of development. Peoples who killed Ahmed wasn’t foreigners in fact they were us who killed our brothers, sisters, on the basis of cast, colour, culture and religion.
I can surely says that its we who destroy Pakistan, who destroy Karachi, Quetta, Baluchistan, NWFP.
If you want to make Pakistan a better place to live, a place of hope, a land of peace let’s raise your hands and make dua like Prophet S.A.W taught us. Say no to target killings, say no to sectarian killings. Save Pakistan save coming generations. MAY ALLAH give Hidayat to everyone..
