Tell us a bit about yourself?
Simple, Down to earth guy who loves the human race & always wishes everyone the best in their lives. I live in music and What I love doing the most is making music that sounds good to the ear. My music portrays everything about me, That’s about it I guess.

Study background?
Currently doing Bachelors in Human Resource Management from FUI and soon to opt for a Masters degree in HRM from Australia.
What are your songs about?
My music is instrumental based only which is about inner peace and fusion of soul and mind. My two Original instrumentals “Cynical Hostility’’ & “Morbid Sorrows” are progressive. The first one is about inner peace whereas the second one is a form of sarcasm towards the US. Furthermore I am on guitars for my band Ehl-E-Rock and the songs that we do in Ehl-E-Rock are about social issues and our beloved country.
Who inspired you to become a singer?
I’m not a singer but I do backing vocals for Ehl-E-Rock, and the western legends such as Steve Vai, Dimebag, Jimmy Hendrix, Zakk Wylde etc were an influence because of which I came into this field and progressed at a steady pace.

That one artist you would love to work with?
I would really like an opportunity to work with Rohail Salman Hayat of Pakistan & Zakk Wylde which is impossible but you never know if God is willing to give you respect and an open chance.
Define music/singing in your own words?
For me, Music is definitely a way of expressing your feelings and letting everything out, that you can’t speak of verbally.
Is there any message you consistently try to portray in your music?
Yes, Of course, it’s freedom and right to live the way you want.
If you got a record deal at this second, would you accept it?
Definitely, in the end all you need is a push.
Would you prefer performing solo or with band?
Definitely would prefer performing with my own band Ehl-E-Rock.

Best performance yet?
Winning performance at the battle of the band 2010 at EME Olympiad, Noori was judge and we played our hearts out in front of 4000+ people and took the winner’s title beating 12 other bands. Also it was Ehl-E-Rock’s first ever performance after being found in 2010.
Views about Pakistani music industry?
To be honest, there is loads of monopoly and lack of interest in the upcoming talent. All the big shots tend to stop local bands from reaching the top.
Which Pakistani female vocalist would you like to collaborate with?
Definitely, Meesha Shafi.
Which Pakistani male vocalist would you like to collaborate with?
Definitely, Umair Jaswal of Qayaas.
How much role does the sound editing software’s play in a final ready to listen song?
I would say almost 95 – 99 %. If the mix is good, the song is good.
Which musical instrument do you play really well?
Guitars.
Worst comment by any hater?
By EP’s manager, and I quote “who are you? A joke? You think you can make good music, all you can do is ruin other band’s performances by taking lots of time on stage.’’
Any upcoming projects?
Ehl-E-Rock’s Third Original Song with an official music video & my third Original Instrumental with an official video.
Any message for your fans
Keep supporting me and my band because you, our fans, are family and in the end WE ARE because of YOU.

Views about Islotimes:
Islotimes is doing a great job trying to bring out local hidden talent of Pakistan. The best thing about islotimes by far is that you guys serve as the voice for all bands and solo artists who do music by heart and are indeed pretty good at it.
