Technology allows us to view each other’s life even if we’re
sitting in Antarctica. It has become so fast paced that we hardly get any time
to communicate. Granted the new world has invented amazing things, created such
fantastic machinery that all stigmas, all negative feedback, all the leg
pulling has been silenced once and for all. You can learn new stuff on the
internet every day, create programs, websites, sell things, buy clothes,
accessories, and so much more. All thanks to technology, human mind at it’s
best.
But along the way we have lost quite a lot, and what we have
lost can never be replaced by all these gadgets. If there are more options
available then so is depression, if there are more doors open, then so is loneliness.
Sitting down by my window, I looked out and saw the sky. It was
almost sunset and the usually blue sky was now of a different color. It had
rays of pink and orange making their way out, reaching towards the opposite
side, as if an eye lid was shutting up. It was a marvelous sight, watching the
birds returning home, and the sun setting, following its appointed course. Nature
was so beautiful yet it was followed by destruction. That was nature’s course;
what came into existence must end so something new, something better can take
its place.
I haven’t written in a while, and right now, as I look
around I’m trying to capture one train of thought, follow it, see where it goes
but I’m losing it. So I’ll try something new. I’ll write down bits of the
thoughts coming in my head and see where those lead us.
First thought..Ummm trust. It’s a big thing. Not just a five
letter word. It has so much depth in it, so much emotions that once broken, it’s
bloody hard to get it back. Lots of relationships require trust like with
family, friends, loved ones and even animals. A horse rider can never win a
race if his stallion does not trust him, nor can a dog follow orders of its
owner if the owner hasn’t won its trust. Our parents have trust in us, which
over time either builds up or breaks down. Words of advice, if you can’t cheer
someone up, don’t go out of your way to bring them down. If you can’t keep
secrets, don’t pretend to know them, or force others to tell you. If you don’t
know the power of words, don’t gossip. You can tarnish someone’s reputation and
that someone my dear will only be you, how? Well if you can not respect some
one else’s life, or privacy, other people listening to you won’t concern them
with the third person. Rather they would judge you, your character and your
nature; of gossiping and dishing out everything. Second thing, if you have
broken someone’s heart, some one’s trust, know this that it will take time to
repair it, that is if you want to repair it.
That’s it for now. Hope to bring you more. Stay tuned.
