Now a days many peoples are talking that after increase in mobile withholding tax we get only 65 rupees on 100 rupees card recharge.Here are some realities of mobile with holding tax.Before increase in With Holding Tax
Deduction on mobile phone card load=11.5 % Withholding Tax + 5% service charges of mobile operator company
On 100 rupees card load we were getting 83.5 rupees after deduction of 16.5 rupees.
For your info 19.5% FED was also already deducted on doing every call and sms before this Govt's Budget.
On consumption of remaining 83.5 rupees you all were already paying 16.28 rupees against FED.
So total tax paid on 100 rupees card load was 32.78 rupees before this Govt's Budget.
This is the story before With Holding tax increase.
After 5% increase in With Holding Tax
Deduction on mobile phone card load=16.5 % With Holding Tax + 5% service charges of mobile operator company
On 100 rupees card load we will get 78.5 rupees after deduction of 21.5 rupees.
For your info 19.5% FED was also already deducted on doing every call and sms before this Govt's Budget.
On consumption of remaining 78.5 rupees you all are already paying 15.31 rupees against FED.
So total tax on 100 rupees card load now will be 36.81 rupees.
This is the story after With Holding tax increase.
Net increase in Tax on 100 rupees card = After this Govt's Budget (36.81) - Before this Govt's Budget (32.78)
Net increase in Tax on 100 rupees card load= 4.03 rupees.
For info of all this 4 rupees increased With Holding tax along with 11.5 % previous With Holding Tax can be return on submission of Tax return to FBR.
PMLN is encouraging all to get NTN numbers and register their self as Tax-payers.
Only we have to keep mobile phone cards which we have loaded but first and foremost a person needs to get NTN number.
Bad new for those who don't have NTNs. Sorry they cant get these taxes back.
No one in Pakistan is willing to be in the tax net.
People get afraid by listening name of FBR.
Our With Holding Taxes are adjustable.
By Registering and getting NTN We can get back Our With Holding taxes.
