I was in grade 3, when one day At school somebody asked me if I was a Sunni or a shit'te. Not knowing what that meant, cause I'd never heard these terms before I replied that "No, I'm a Muslim". I recall it and it's probably one of my most proudest moments and now whenever somebody asks me whether I'm Sunni or shit'te I just reply that I'm a Muslim. I think it's the best reply to it. Muslims are meant to be unity. We can not end up diving into sectors and start fighting among ourselves.
Even though I truly respect what my Shi'ite brothers and sisters have to say and I solo melt believe that there's no point if an argument on this topic. I always say "Kay Bhai, Deen Aur Pyaar Sab Ka Apna Apna!" (Religion and love is everyone's own) So basicly there's no right to criticize, go against or exaggerate anyone's way of living and how they think and act about religious matters. Who are you to judge?
Though I find it a little sad when I read #Shia written in people's bio's on social websites. If you're diving yourself into A sector than how do you expect people to treat you equally. I suppose it would be better if people kept religion to themselves and just acted like Muslims irrespective of being a Sunni or a Shi'ite.
They say, the more you divide the weaker you get.
