DJ REME: Love every moment of Djing  & producing …. So I spend every moment learning some thing new and it exciting. I cant compare one with the other as I enjoy them both equally at the right time and right place with the right mood.

What do you usually start with when preparing for a set?
DJ REME: I get a feedback from the promoter with the make up of the crowd and then focus my mind towards the job at hand and the set I want to play by buliding an image in my mind what the nite will sound like & look like when the night is in full motion

Which other countries have you performed /put parties on
DJ REME: Dubai, Muscat, Bahrain, Germany, South Africa, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Bali, Mauritus, India
How important is building a real relationship with the music you're playing for your own approach? There's so much music out there, is it even possible to build meaningful long-term relationships with a particular track or album?

DJ REME: All depends on my mood & what I wanna hear. It doesn’t matter to me if its old or new music or the genre of music. For me the production value is important as I keep learn everyday something new from the greats. Frank sintra, elvis presley, micheal jackson, R.D burman, Nusrat fateh ali khan, nazia hassan, bhappi lahri, david guetta, hard well, show tek, afro jack, kenny g, yanni, richard clayderman, rahul sharma ……… the list goes on but they all make meaningful music, it all depends how and where and whom to delver it to. I learn from them everyday of my life

What’s the best event you’ve played at/put on?
DJ REME: Too many to choose from But I think playing @ party house in Joburg, south Africa, trilogy,- Dubai, club sugar, -Hong kong  & Club Elevate & Agni – New Delhi, India were my most memorable club events. Playing a couple of private parties for Mr. Amitabh Bachchan & sir Richard Branson were great pleasurable moment of my career. Opening for Taio Cruz in Germany, opening for shahrukh khan & Flo-rida in Hong Kong were gr8 moments on a concert level for me.
What makes you decide to play a particular record during one of your sets? Is there a criteria other than pure subjectivity, for selecting what to play at a gig?
DJ REME: It all depends on the mood of the crowd and where I wanna take them on the musical journey my spinning out. Every song has its own story ….. I go with the follow of my mind & feelings

When there's more music than one can possibly take in, it is becoming increasingly hard to know what constitutes an original and a remake anymore. What's your opinion on the importance of roots, traditions, respecting originals and sources?
DJ REME: Both are important and must be respected, an original track has to be well made for it to become popular and when I deciede to remix I have to do justice to the original track. I cant spoil the feel of the orginal track just to add a few dance beats to it. Remixing is tool and art many will try but only a few will understand and master. Remixing is also important to take a particular sound to a particular crowd. Remixing helps bring my the old golden melodies to the modern era & make the young generation about the work done before they were born.

What was your first record you bought?

DJ REME: Micheal Jackson - Thriller

What’s you favorite track / record / album / mix set of all time

DJ REME:Too many to mention  I have already mentioned a few name above. But “Strangers in the Night – frank Sinatra” Starry Starry Night- Jullio and Cant help Falling in Love – Elvis Presley will always grow on me

What advice would you give to up and coming Dj’s/MC’s?
DJ REME:Do it with your heart for the right reasons not just  for fame, money and sex
