Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Shareef inaugurated the program in early January 2014 by pressing a button at Arfa Kareem Software Technology Park.
Shahbaz Shareef states that this program will revolutionized the education system in Punjab. Later it has been decided that other classes will also be included on the website.
The project is very similar to Khan's Academy, PITB's e-learning programme will be specifically tailored for students enrolled with Punjab Education Board.
Website offers e-books, simulations, video lectures, animation,
and other supporting material for the students.
