Warid telecom of Pakistan today went public with $G LTE deployment in the Country through Advertisment in Major Newspapers in Pakistan. Through 4G deployment in the country Warid will become the first operator in pakistan to deploy 4G in the country beating ZONG which becomes the first operator to take part in 4G auction held in April 2014.
ZONG's offical sources confirmed that it will takes several Months to Deploy 4G in the country by ZONG telecom. Although it was confirmed that PTA won't allow Warid to deploy 4G in the country because it will unbalanced the industry.
Despite the fact that Warid didn't participate in the Auction Held in 2014 but Warid decided to to go 4G LTE with its available Spectrum that it had bought in late 2004.
Our sources Confirmed that Last week Warid CEO met with PTA chairman and it seems that the deal is now finalized and PTA gives a green signal to Warid so that they can deploy 4G LTE in the country.
Our Sources also confirmed that after the deployment of Warid 4G network it country Zong will try to deploy its 4G network as soon as early.
