Q – What are your shows all about?
They are all about positive energy, I communicate
with my audience as a family member or a dear friend would. They truly appreciate this approach and are
very receptive to what I have to say. I utilize this platform to make people
more socially aware, educate the masses about the important issues surrounding us
(social, economical, moral etc.) and also add some much needed laughter to
their lives.
Q -- Is it necessary for an Rj/Vj to have good
taste in music?
Depends on what you define as good taste in music and who defines it J
Q -- Did you always want to be an Rj?
I always
wanted to and have been a communicator; whether it’s been through my public
speaking, soft skill trainings as a master trainer or through radio
broadcasting. I like reaching out to people, connecting with them, being there
for them, learning from them and teaching them whatever I can
Q – How do you react when a caller has something
adverse to say about you?
I’m fairly
receptive to what people generally have to say however there’s a very fine line
between expressing one’s self and being blatantly rude. When people try to
cross that line, I don’t let them.
Q – Perky Tweets and taking songs request on
facebook and Twitter are the first ever examples of internet and radio
association. How do you think will the internet benefit the radio and vise
versa in the future?
The internet has brought forward several
communication platforms for media as a whole. It provides the audience with
convenient options of how they want to reach out to their favourite ‘stars’.
With specification to radio, people are able to listen to their favourite radio
programs via live streaming on their tablets, laptops, cell phones wherever
there may be in the world. And this is just the beginning!
Q – what do you think which is more complicated a
Dr. or a RJ?
Neither.
For me, complication only arises when one allows one’s self to be overwhelmed
by work as just work. When it’s a true passion, a true calling, it’s easier
than ABC.

It’s
positively challenging to be better than each yesterday, to bring forward a

devastated and I didn’t know how to feel when the news came at 4 am in the
morning that I had won. A few days later when things started settling at home,
